As far as I'm aware, there is nothing in Jaco that compares to the SL in room quality or immediate Chica availibility. Jaco is a different kind of experience than the urban. The "Search" function works well for other Jaco information.

I "suggest" you forget Jaco and spend your time in San Jose. If you decide to go to Jaco, make sure you come back and tell us how "great" is was.

I recommend Canciones del Mar hotel. It's right on the ocean, nice accomodations, and chica-friendly. There's no bar there, but the Beatle Bar is a five minute walk. I was there in January, and had excellent luck at the BB.

We stayed at the canciones del mar 2 weeks ago. The 3rd.floor ocean front suites are great. They have 2 large bedrooms seperatated by a large living room with a full kitchen. The suite cost 250 per night, about the same as 2 regular rooms. Chica friendly @ 15 dollars. They also have a rooftop bar with live music on weekends.

Hmm; they didn't charge me any chica fees when I was there.
