Has nothing to do with fear of women, it's more like trying to avoid a clash of cultures. What is accepted behavior here might not be there, and since this will be my second trip, I just figure I ask my elders for advice thus avoiding being label and giving my fellow mongers a bad name.

FFS, they;re working girls... They aren't there for their health... As others have noted, treat them with a bit of of respect, but you are the customer after all...

Just curious about how other people's aproach to this situation is. I usually don't zero in on someone in particular, so if I see a girl I like and she's in a little group, I just move on. At least on my limited experience supply has beaten demand. But just in case would like to get some ideas on how to break the ice without been consider rude or anything similar.

Julliano, I think this was an interesting question if the thought was to ask "how to approach" in the sense you want to get a particular girls attention within the group. It seems your asking in a more cultural sense, then finally it got reduced to "they are working girls were talking about".

Culturally speaking, rude is rude and polite is polite and so on. So no differences there..

This situation would be more apt to happen at the HDR and I myself have been in this situation. Personally I like to walk by the group hoping the chica in question looks. If our eyes meet I like to give an eyebrow raise and smile and continue walking.
Sort of like how a shark might bump a boat to see what's up.

After you walk around and loop you can casually chat with friends and make eye contact from across the room and see what her interest level is. Sometimes being elusive with your approach will pique the interest of a chica moving you further away from "business"

Just my thoughts...

Cujo hit the nail on the head, don't be a deer in the headlights. Play it cool and you would be surprised how smooth things go.
