Because the new-look Board hasn't fully indexed older post yet, you can't reference older posts in the "Search" function. If you don't get specific answers here, try "searching" Tuesday or Wednesday. Yes, I know time is tight for you.

Morazan is a popular monger hotel. It has a great location being just one block west of the HDR. No chica fee, at least for one, I have heard they charge if you bring two to your room. Has a casino, restaurant, sports book on premises. It is not a deluxe hotel but a very adequate one for the price.

After your trip can you post your opinion about this hotel? I know there is a lot of post already on this hotel but most seem to be from around a year ago. I was wondering if there has been any improvements or changes in the past few months. And it's always good to have a fresh review and new perspective.

I have stayed there a few times, when I made last minute trips and had to fill a day or two. I always thought, for the price, it was a good place to stay. It is not a five star hotel, but it is not a roach motel either. My first choice? No way. If Amon or SL unavailable, certainly. I would stay there before HDR. Rooms are "close" in quality, 1/2 price and 1 block away. Have a great trip, you will be happy with Morazan.

If you get a chance, check out the Clarion (used to be called Amon Plaza) and the Sportsmans Lodge. Then plan ahead when you return.

Yes, I said WHEN you return.

Welcome to the rest of your life!

Remember if you book at the Clarion, contact Nixon in the Casino and tell him you're a CRT VIP, to get the discount...This is still valid advice, right, Brothers?
And what Brother February said--If you've gone so far as to join us as a Brother, you'll be back. How could you not? Think you'll find this good this side of Asia? I think not (apologies to fans of Medellin and Brazil).

Jose Troyano III is the contact person at Hotel Costa Rica Morazán. Email is troyano111 at hotmail.com .

However, try Hotel Castillo as well.....it's a very good place and in some ways a bit better than Hotel Costa Rica Morazán in my view....

I did PM you....i think the rate he sent me INCLUDED taxes and breakfast....but I am not certain

I stayed there at least 40 times location is great across the street from the Horseshoe and the old NYB.I will miss the NYB. It will be my first time back since it closed. Get a room on the 5th floor.Give Ricardo a couple of bucks and be done with him. Angie at the front desk is very nice.

I thought I heard that Nixon was no longer there and they no longer wave the chica fee. Anyone know anything about that?
