I don't have a lot of free time due to work, but I'm making my first trip down from 13th - 15th of Feb. Based on the intentions of the trip (to enjoy it and not leave the hotel) I booked the HDR for the 2 nights I'll be there. I've read a lot of this forum and plan to read more before the trip to ensure that I'm well versed and prepared. I'm no means fluent in Spanish, but I do have some ability to communicate in it and I am going to learn some of the more important phrases too. Thanks for all the information on here, it is awesome.

You booked at the right spot for a two night trip. I would suggest you go to the Sportsmen Lodge and look for CRT guys about dinner time. You might also want to go to IDEM massage and Hotel Little Havana massage also. flat price for an hour at each full service. Then go back to The DR. It will be a way to get a break and see some of the city and see your other options for future trips.
