very interesting story Don, i was there around that time too, however, didn't spend a lot of time in the DR, i did spend some time in the BM though, i kind of like it over there =)
But getting back to the subject at hand, i have come to realize that most latin american people are usually late, this is 31 years of experience talking here. People always tell me a half hour before i need to be there so i get there on time. My whole family is the same, i know a Spainard that is the same and most mexicans are the same. So the women are no different i guess. When i was there in Nov. I got stood up by 2 girls, and these were "regular" girls not working ones. So it doesn't matter what they do, what country they are from, or what have you. But i liked the advice given by one of the gentleman above. Give her a taste of her own medicne and leave her hanging! well unless she has another girl lined up for a threesome!
