Just curious about how other people's aproach to this situation is. I usually don't zero in on someone in particular, so if I see a girl I like and she's in a little group, I just move on. At least on my limited experience supply has beaten demand. But just in case would like to get some ideas on how to break the ice without been consider rude or anything similar.

Just walk up to the chica and said “¿Tienes un minuto para hablar?” (Let’s take a minute to talk). And you should be able to point to another seat/area to talk. The chicas actually like to negotiate in private with you.

I want to thank everyone that took the time to reply. On my first trip I wanted to hook up with this girl, bt she was always in a group. There were too many to choose from, for e to have that slow me down, but really want to hook up with her this time, if she's around.

I am calling BS on Jamrock - MH says he whips out little Jamrock (which is not so little) and the chicas come running!

In any case Juliano, a wingman can be helpful, just make sure he knows his job is to help you split out the chica you want - depending on the environment, a bartender or waitress can ask your chica to come see you for a sec as well.

The thing to keep in mind is that these women are in business--they're usually just shootin' the shit 'til they get The Call from a studly dude like you. I don't reckon you generate an obligation to rent by calling a Chica over for The Interview. Nobody (well, hardly anybody) makes a sale every time. If she's not the one, let her down easy--lotsa eyes are on you in this give 'n' take and you create good will or bad by how you handle yourself. These aren't Gringas at a mixer but they are human beings.

This is easy. These ladies want you to pull them away from the group. I find its actually more difficult when you like them and they kind of like you. Then you're in the group and it feels like you're being interviewed by her friends.

At the end of the day, all of these girls are there to work. They aren't there to socialize and get drunk like in the states. Pull them away from the heard and have fun.

Unless they are already engaged with a potential client, I usually walk up, join the group, and start flirting with all of them.
