Now, I know how awful public education is in CR, but you add to that language barriers..... and oh yeah... her current profession.... which leads me to believe she maybe never even entered Colegio.... this means an 8th grade spanish education. What does that mean?

The only way to get a decent eduction in CR that provides a chance at Univeristy in the US is a top-tier, english taught, private school.

CHI_TREKKER if you will re-read PR's post you will find that the chica in question is Colombiana and lives in Colombia, NOT in Costa Rica!! But that is not to say that the Colombian educational system is any better, thou I believe it is at least in some areas of Colombia based on my ex's son's education.

The woman I have wifed up with likes me because I know how to get her screaming really good. One reason is chemistry and the other is experience. She knows I can't support her and that she must work to eat but she loves me anyway. Yes, I imagine that I am a father figure to her and that's ok with me because I've always liked being a father. In her favor, she is mature enough to put her Ch*ldren needs before her own. So far we have equal respect for each other and that appears to make a big difference. I'll let you know how it goes.
