Give Chi_Trekker time and even he will out grow his youthful ideas of how dumb us "old farts", us "older gentlemen" , us "delirious winos", us "wrinkle butts" are!! Hell one day if he is lucky, he will be one of us "old Farts" and will realize that he earned the right to be "estupido" at times.
BB57 - I'm not calling anyone names and I'm not even singling out what we call old "farts." The old fart in my life passed away 10 years ago from cancer and I sincerely miss him and always leaned on his every word. Honestly - if he were alive, I probably would have never decided to come to Costa Rica in the first place. But, that is water over the damn.
Anyhow, I'm mostly referring to anyone who wastes their time dating (or worse) hookers in CR. The younger guys fall for this trap as well. Gee - what was his board name???? Prostoner used to brag publicly about his wife whom he met as his first session ever in the DR. You can look at him and whats his name?????? Rolltide.... I even forgot.
This post is titled father figure. So, I posted in light of all the elder gents on the board. Like I said - I respect an older guys who play down here with the correct perspective. No illusions. Its the guys that come down and think they are some kind of reincarnation of Humphrey Bogart with the working women. The guys that reallly think they are guapo.
Its all ego gents. We americans have large ones. Ask the ticos about that one...
When I used to monger in CR, I enjoyed partying and banging chicas. Nothing more. I treated them with respect. But soon, grew tired of all their bullshit. I just can't understand why anyone wastes their time more than just P4P with these women, when there are so many other non-working options in CR. Not that these options are perfect, but at least you have a chance at something more real and less fantasy.

I really think it is a dream that most of us (and most of the time) know is just that, "A DREAM", and thou it may appear that we think it can really work out and become a wonderful, lasting relationship, we in fact KNOW that it is a dream to be enjoyed as long as it lasts and nothing more.
Let some one else be Captain Save-A-Ho. I'm tired of playing the father figure. 
Not age, money, stamina or "game". You just need to raise the bar a little when it comes to wingmen !!!
