I was at the SL last weekend and found the service at the bar way below average.. the bar was alittle busy with customers and rameras, however the bartenders were too busy gossiping rather than taking care of the PAYING customers. I am fluent in spanish so I heard the conversations that were going on..I left after a little while.. to hard to get a drink.. too bad!!

I was just there the weekend of Dec 4th. Service was good, but that's because I'm always sweet with the bartenders, I tip well, I tell them how beautiful they are, and the three or four ( or is that six or seven??) that I REALLY like get little gifts as soon as I get there.

So I get excellent service. I'm not saying you need to do the same thing, you shouldn't have to, but I'm trying to get them to remember me. I also tend to buy them drinks once in a while....that's just in my generous nature, and the party atmosphere tends to intensify once they start drinking.

Funny how some of us get great service and others don't ON THE SAME NIGHT -- after all, I was at the SL last weekend too and I got treated like a king.

Hmmm.... wonder why that is?? :D

I too was at SL last weekend (both Friday & Saturday nights) and service was excellent, as noted in my earlier post. Am STILL here and service continues to be excellent.

Dito for me, I was there last Fri, Sat & Sun and had no problem with service.

The staff were hustlng in the back on Fri & Sat, can't comment too much on Sun as I arrived rather late  . We were able to promptly get a dinner order in then..
