Just had a late lunch at Cafe Mundo. Ceasar Salad with grilled shrimp. No bargain, but very, very good.

Is there anything better than a good sexo, followed by a good meal?

Maybe I should pull a George Costanza, and eat DURING sex?!?

Ate twice at Mundo this last trip, once with wingman and chica, the other time with chica alone. While it is perhaps a bit too pricey for what you get, I had two extremly enjoyable meals. Also, it is easy to have a quiet table and a lovely discrete meal without feeling like you are on display, in spite of there being a great number of civilian sorts...Nice coctail menu as well, and a decent and resonably priced wine list. The Malbec is well priced and very nice.

Has anyone been to Cafe Mundo lately? I have found so many new places to eat in San Jose that I havent been to Cafe Mundo in quite some time. Was just wondering if the service and food is still good.

Ate their in Feb with my gang of 10.

No complaints.

I had the twin filets. Always delicious and tender. Heavy on the black pepper, which I like.

My Favorita had chicken special of the night, it was in an oregano sauce. Very yummy!

Most had Corvina or Tuna. I tried the Corvina at it was outstanding.

The bread and appateasers were great!

Service for a large party was outstanding.

We'll be back again soon!

Called my x novia or whatever and scheduled some time with her in a few weeks. Cafe Mundo is one of her favorite resturants in SJO and I can always find something I like on the menu. So I am looking foward to dining there really soon.

Dinner at Mundo with my espical one. Maybe some chicken or some tenderlion. Well I can wait till tomorrow to decide. Cafe Mundo is close to the SL and good food if you haven't tried it yet give it a try you wont regret it. And as mentioned the prices are fair.

You can see the back door / parking lot of Mundo from the front door of the Amistad, my favorita always parks there and has locked her keys in her car in that parking lot more than once. She knows the menu by heart too. What a frickin foodie!!

Not even a block from La Ami!

Yes the place is indeed very gay friendly  But, the pizza is pretty good and they have decent house wine and seating for 400 hundred they tell me. It is Gringo owned. :o
