The Sleep Inn is somewhat chica friendly. A better term might be chica opportunistic, as they charge you $25 for every chica you bring back to your room.

:D well since you use a wheelchair just stay at the dr  they charge like around $15 every trip up stairs with company.just call and ask for Gaby she will take care of you! normally i would not suggest this hotel but your circumstances with a wheel chair. carlos silva has authority to fine business for not being handicapp compliance  under code section 1067 paragraph 2 it is written the provisions of this act.

Yeah....under the circumstances, the Del Rey would prabably be the best bet. Seems like it could be a real hassle taking chicas out of the Del Rey and heading off to the Sleep Inn in a wheel chair. :? It might not be too bad though, if you had a good wingman to assist you. 8)

Excellent Post!

Do we have a list of Hotels, MPs. Cafes, etc...

that are wheelchair accessible?

Perhaps we can create such a list.

I seem to remember a newspaper article about the San Jose municipality requiring wheelchair access for the MPs.

I'm sure this guy is glad that the government shut down the MP's and some other places and made them install wheelchair ramps last year, even though we know what the purpose of the shut down was.

:D the purpose of the shut down was to give the kittens some time away from there trabajo , some of these places are borderline pimping  a place that gets a cut and frowns on freelancing outside the establishment  the restrictions and requiring some long hours of setting around eating , talking on the cell phones and or :?: actually one place now prohibits cell phones and cameras picures etc...... use to be a great place to but turned there backs on us and phucked up a great business   oh well this is CR afterall what would tiny soprano do :?: well order onion rings and wait 20 minutes for meadow to parallel park  :P hello this is NYC just phucking park the car Damnit :D so i say just stay at the dr there is no need of leaving the place  you is at ground zero phuck away with yo bad self

I disagree. If you are in a chair and going to Costa Rica, I assume you are adept at getting around.
While I really don't care for Sleep Inn, as someone said: they are more like 'chica tolerant', it is right next to the HDR with no steps in between. You could easily traverse the distance. The HDR is simply too noisy to get any sleep and you do gotta sleep, contrary to what some of the Energizer Bunny type brothers might say. :? Although, the suites are a bit quieter than the rest of HDR's rooms.
I hope you have a great adventure.

100% agree and please do write a trip report--no prurient interest but it would be a different take on the Monger experience. Also agree about a wingman to clear the drunks out of your way at the HDR/BM.
