First time to Costa Rica...I've been to Rio de Janeiro and loved it but this is my 1st time to CR. Booked a room at the Hotel Amistad for January....all of you that have stayed there how did you like it? I have heard very good things about it.

Also I believe I have read that the Amistad is a very very short walk from Sportmsen Lodge...correct? How about from the Amistad to the Del Rey?

And finally one last question and maybe the most important so I can plan my daylight hours accordingly, what are the closest massage parlors to the Amistad?

Just join as a VIP member before your trip. Then, when you get into town, you can pick up your CRT card at HLH. As long as you show the the front desk staff your CRT card, you shouldn't have a problem with them applying the discount for your hotel. Have fun!

I like the stay I just had there for a night . The staff is nice and it was a beautiful room and format of the hotel . The SL is a 1 minute walk around the corner and at night it looks pretty safe basically not to much foot traffic like downtown San Jose which is 3-4 blocks away . You can bring a female guest in there cool .
