Back about 7 years ago when I was a frequent visitor to San Jose, I used to eat at the Parrillada Churrasco restaurant in Barrio Escalante. Do any of you gentlemen dine there, and can you comment on whether it is still around?

Thanks,

Can't help you specifically but try this:
www.costaricarestaurante.com/detalleRes ... rrasco/110 At least it still exists

And if that doesn't do it for you, try: www.strayreality.com/dir_restaurants.htm

Yes it's still around. Had an excellent meal there less than a week ago.

OK, to the Post Police; Apologies because I realize this is an old post, but currently have lots of time on my hands as I make the transition to the TB area and spend lots of time looking for a good paying gig, but I am just tickled pink that some other monger found this place as me and me bud found it looking for Esquina ( which I now know is right by Idem) when we stumbled across it. So here is the link to my original report on the Argentinian place Churrascos which does some excellent beef albeit at Gringo prices.
