Could you please tell me if it is folly to walk up the hill from SL to LA late at night alone (probably after a few cervezas) or with a chica or should I get a cab for that short distance. My understanding is that it's a 1 block walk but the cab needs to take a roundabout way. What do the chicas expect? Thanks.

Cien if walking. Most definately you can walk it. During the brief stroll, I always tell the girl to walk a little ahead so I can watch her shake her ass.

Simpler, they may just want men to think they are as perfect as they want to appear to them, trying to hide what they consider to be the ugly truth about themselves. And I may be reading more into it than is there, but I do believe they consider the basis of the lies to be justified."

It's a wide street. There is a 24 hour parking place at the half way point so if you saw anyone in the street, you could duck in there.

There is a Swing Club next to the parking lot that is going about 4 nights a week with a "guard" watching the cars outside. I would make that walk just about any time.

Lets see what the rest say ?

Sure, no problem.

I just got back, stayed at La Amistad & visited SL a couple of times. It is maybe a 2 minute walk and I felt safe doing it solo or with company any time of day or night.

I wouldn't go any farther than that after dark without a cab, tho..>)

Some chicas are so lazy they want to take a cab to the corner :D
It takes longer to get in the taxi back up and go up the hill than it does to walk.. The girls know the way and they like the place... if you do take a cab ... it is cheap

Don't!!!! I had a close call with two robbers on a motorcycle about 9:30pm on Friday night in front of Cafe Havana beside the Casa Amarilllo. My knife was bigger than theirs but it was a define robbery attempt. I am a retired cop. The one to two dollar cab fee is well worth the investment. Had it been a gun insted of a knife I would have been in real trouble. It was the first time in three years of walking this route but it only takes once.

Cancel the last post. I would continue to walk from the Sportsmans to Amistad without fear. Sportsmans to the Del Rey is another matter. Take a cab from the Sportsmans to the Del Rey and in reverse.
