Hey guys,

I am flirting with the idea of taking my novia to Arenal Springs in La Fortuna on Thanksgiving weekend (probably stay on Friday and Saturday night), as I heard that its very nice and I've never been there before.
I am looking for a hotel that's reasonably-priced (say $100 per night)
but is nice, preferably with a jacuzzi in the room. Any suggestions?
BTW, how long does it take to get to La Fortuna from San Jose anyways?
Any and all info will be greatly appreciated.

www.donrufino.com Features a good casado at $7...Entrees por dos up to about $45

BTW A hotel to avoid is Abercam--don't ask why.
As always for reataurants, there's www.tripadvisor.com or doing a "Search" here.

I stayed at the Royal Corin http://www.royalcorin.com/ for 10 days in august. It's about a year old and is excellent. I do not know what the rates would be during your time of travel but it is very, very nice.

Yes, i've stayed several times at Los Lagos, it's a nice little place, but can be a bit K*D heavy at times with all the pools.

Stay away from Tabacon, it's way too expensive, but they do have good springs.

The absolute best place to stay, hands down is The Springs, but they're expensive (more than twice your budget) but the place is just a masterpiece and wonderful rooms with deep jacuzzi tubs.
