Hey

Been looking for a place to stay.

Coming down for SB Party.
Feb 3 - 8.

Prez and Morazon full.

Amon price increase and a little far for me.

Balmoral has super high chica fee, per Vb.

Does anybody know about Gran Hotel on Central near Calle 3?
Close to ground zero and cheap on the net at $42.
Are they CF or not?

Thanks

Zart

Zhallart,

Hotel Gran Via very chica friendly no fee of any kind. Depending on your length of stay the price of $42.00 net ( includes breakfast) may or not be a great deal but is good one either way.
Have stayed there many times before moving here and always had a great time, make sure you request a mini fridge in your room. Alvaro is the manager, great guy.
The only problem is they are usually full getting a room may be tough.

You might see if the Europa hotel has rooms.
This is going to be a weekend with a lot of tourists in town.

The Party?

If you mean the CRT VIP Superbowl party get your name and reservation into Admin1 as soon as possible. There are about 49 gringos signed up so far.

Also see www.hoteleuropacr.com for the Europa hotel if Gran Via does not work out. I just heard that my buddy is there right now with a chica.

Yet the Hotel Gran Via and the Gran Hotel de Costa Rica are 2 different hotels. The Gran Hotel de CR faces Avenida Segundo. The Gran Via is directly behind The Gran Hotel and fronts on Avenida Central.
