I don't think that could have been you because I was sitting RIGHT NEXT TO HER when it happened. Not across the table. And this guy was COMPLETELY sober (or so it seemed) because otherwise I would have been at least SOMEWHAT dismissive of the act...

I'm still kinda put off by the comments on here that "not over a hooker" or "she's just a puta."

I don't care who it is. Maybe its me. If I saw someone about to do something to an und#r@ge person or similar situation, I sure as he!! would say and/or do something. Consequences be d@mned. Sometimes, you just have to stand up for what is right, whether you know the person or not. I would feel WORSE if I DIDN'T at least try to do something if I thought the situation warranted a response.

Yes, and you are missing the point.
A girl in the bar is presumed to be a working girl.
Working girls don't earn money in the bar.
They wait for a paying customer.
IMO it is acceptable to ask if she is available.
A gentleman will respect her answer.

I have never had this problem yet as usually I have a group of friends with the chicas. Other than that when I'm solo I know so many of the gals that there is a certain loyalty when I'm with them and the word gets around quick between their friends.
