One of the great joys and sometimes agonies of this game is how a random error can flip things 180 degrees! Very necessary W for theBOYS in BLUE as no one has ever gone 2 down at home and rallied back in the NLCS....

Mendo...glad to have you on board, whatever the motivation. As a Brooklyn boy i have to say I am pushing for a Yanks Dodgers series though.

Florida, yes where is Koufax? As a little nipper he I idolized him...too bad he wasnt around a little longer...

Orel...punching his firsts in the air...doesnt get better than that!

or yeah it does...the KIRK pumping his arms as he rounds the bases in 1988 .

Ahhhhhh. dodger beisbol!

PR....1989 no? for Gibson? I say that because they showed that to open the series the other night under the context of the 20th year anniversary on Oct. 15.

Whatever the year I still get chills hearing that call......

Nope 1988 is correct...how could I forget! David Cone dissed us and lit us on fire to knock the great Mets out...Seeing Davey cry on TV was classic!!

Tonight was an earthquake night for the LAXatives. One weird thing: the Phillies scored more than our feetsball team the Eagles.

My, my what a pissy feeble response that was. Surely you can do better? Try looking up the word "flaccid"--that describes the LAXatives this night.

Wisdom of one of the all--time great baseball managers:

"You know, they scored 11 runs, they only beat us once," Torre said. "So that's good news for us. You never want to get your rear end kicked, there's no doubt about it. But these games, you don't toss and turn wondering, 'If I had made this move or that move.' This is one you can put away a lot quicker even though it's a lot uglier than most."

Bring It ON!!!

Wow!!!!

What a crude and rude response.

It's a game man get a grip. Sometimes your team wins sometimes they lose but it's still a game and some sportsmanship is not only appreciated but expected here. Some back and forth repartee is appreciated when done in a humorous manner but that comment was over the top.

Another dramatic game-turnaround.
Phillies 5, Dodgers 4

If the LAXatives can harness and channel their energy as well as Brother LaDiablo has, they might--just MIGHT--have a chance at winning Weds. night.
The Phillies only have to win one more, the Dodgers have to sweep. Good luck with that
