Just booked a room at La Amistad a min ago. Can't even begin to express how helpful this board and its contributers have been. I'm sure I'll be looking to hook up with some vets at some point. Holla atta brotha and the first round is on me.

DOOM!

Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Fellow November Mongers..

I am arriving into SJO Thr night Nov 5. and leaving on Monday the 9th.

As of now I am planning to stay all 4 nights at the SL...But.. I am now thinking of spending a couple of nights out in Jaco for 2 of those nights...

I've been to several places throughout CR, but not been to Jaco. I've heard the good & bad, but I need to get out there first hand regardless.

What I am thinking about now is to get into SJO and stay at SL the night of the 5th and then head from San Jose to Jaco on Friday the 6th returning on Sunday the 8th.

I am completely fine arranging to take one of the bus services (Greyline or Interbus I think it is) which is approx $30 each way, but if there is anyone else that is interested in going out that way I'd much rather prefer hiring a taxi. At least we could easily enjoy a few brews en route and not deal with all of the stops etc.

I have my eye on staying at Clarita's which has very reasonably priced rooms out there.

Lastly - I would be interested in getting out for some fishing (or golfing) on Saturday the 7th which I would be happy to arrange if others are interested in going out that way........ And of course, would have to check out the Beetle Bar...

Then - come back to San Jose for football and women on Sunday..

Anyone with interest with 2 days in Jaco during this weekend?

It all sounds pretty cool..)

This is my first trip, tho. I think I am going to be focusing most of my attention on learning the ways of the gulch. Primarly touring the MP's and trying to get a feel for the freelancer.

The Zen of the Monger, and all of that...)

Have fun!

You guys should post this under the OFFICIAL NOVEMBER ROLL CALL. VacationBound, a newbie himself offered a meet and greet at his Penthouse at SL on Sat 7th around 2:00 PM. We should all just meet there to make friends and plan out the weekend. Even if you don't meet up at the Penthouse you will have a great time on your own. You will make friends on your first night at SL. GUARANTEED!!! By the way I will be there from Nov 6 through 11th.

yea, check out the Nov roll call posting...

I'm sure I'll see you guys around. I decided to bail on the Jaco side-trip and will be in in San Jose 5th - 9th either staying at SL or LA. Trying to get that finalized now.

Don't get into SJO until 10pm on the 5th so I'll either see some of you guys late that night at the SL (or HDR) or sometime on Friday. I'm sure I could use a bloody mary Friday morning and the Presidente is a perfect place to grab one!
