I sure hope you mellow suave Angelenos have taken your vitamins, got enough rest and eaten enough tofu burritos, 'cuz here we come.
What you'll be facing: (1) the left-side Z-Amigos including the very under-rated Pedro Feliz [Is that a great monger handle or what??], (2) the other outfielders are genuine 5-tool players, (3) arguably the best double-play combo in baseball, (3) our stud pitcher has more complete games than some whole teams, (4) The Big Piece is a non-pareil RBI guy and, having lost the weight and worked hard, has become a reasonable 1st baseman. I admit to a few flaws including a somewhat shaky bullpen.

The LAXatives better grab their ankles 'cuz the Money Ball players are coming atcha.

GO PHILLIES!!

Phillies ?

Dodgers ?

Not sure which. Have to give the nod to LA. Really hope the team that can beat the Yankees wins as that is the most important thing.

Brother ID--To repeat part of my tagline--"Amen, Brother".
Gonna be a dogfight in LA...Maybe I shouldn't say that, Michael Vick being on the Eagles and all...

What would be SWEETER than beating last year's World Chumps and the YANK_MY_CRANKEES and see Steinbrenner crying after a Joe Torre post - WS win interview... :D :D :D

Nothing makes me happier than when the LAXatives fans underestimate the Phillies--it'll make the pain of loss that much greater. I guaran-fricken-tee the Dodgers players and coaches aren't taking us so lightly.

I am actual rooting for the (hated) Dodgers…

It would be great to have a left coast series… and today is the 10th anniversary of the SF/OAK earthquake series.

Until next season… Go Dodgers

Davey Lopes is the Phillies 1st base coach--other ironies in this series abound, Vincente Padilla and Jim Thome being former Phillies et cetera ad nauseum
