Slipped in with the terrific discounts, Happy Hour specials and stuff was the notice that MagicJack phones are available using your own computer for a nominal 1-time fee (on a 5-day visit, it works out to $2/day). Very thoughtful amenity of Brother BKTuna. Ah! The beauty of competition. Expect the other hotels to follow his lead--of course by then he''ll have thought of other stuff to enhance our experience.

I've walked by the Dunn Inn many times, but never took the time to take a look. After looking at the photo gallery, I'm sorry I didn't. The place looks like a classy hotel. I tried to associate the photo gallery pics with the guest room descriptions... I think I got it. I'm guessing no pics of the standard rooms?

I believe I may try out the Inn whenever I make it back to SJ.

BKTuna, I saw you last April when I took six guys on a fishing trip. I'll have to get past two trips (Germany & Colombia) before I even begin to think about returning to CR. I'm thinking the earliest will be March or April. Again, best of luck with this new business venture.

Bk ...sorry i not made it by yet....maybe wed , like I said the other day to you....i have seen you take on a few projects and you dont do things half ass...Hope this place understands they are lucky to have you making this bussiness get off the ground and make it work....some other ideas to put you ahead of the group....usa today....have you tried to buy one in san jose (airport $6.00 and its a bullshit type ) look we have alot of down time on our hands here ....and nothing to read when on the shitter !! maybe the usa today or the miami daily newspaper .....my guess more than half of us bring our laptops ...have a little video room where you have dvd's to share or even rent

Will be in town Oct. 5 and would love to see the place. Are you still running the poker room across the street. Best of luck to you on the new place.

BK, would you recommend other types of tourist to book here? I know some hotels accomplish both without a problem. Just wondered about the layout and ambiance there. I checked the website and the rooms look great.....
