I am going to be meeting with some business associates in CR, so I don't know that staying in the gulch is a good idea for my trip in two weeks.

Can anyone recommend a hotel that meets the following criteria (if one even exists):

1. Chica Friendly (Low Chica Fees)
2. Nice
3. Safe
4. Relatively Cheap
5. Not filled with mongers

I love you guys, but I can't offend business associates by bringing them to monger central.

Any suggestions?

Then this hotel basically needs to be outside of the gulch..

Right....can you recommend any?

I have had a few friends recommend some... but I don't think they will be chica friendly.

Outside of the gulch AND chica friendly? Woof.. I can't help ya there, maybe someone can.

So you are considering having to take these chicas off to a distant hotel?

That may be a deal breaker for some chicas, but maybe not. I'm sure someone will chime in with a hotel for ya

If you want to be in the Gulch, El Presidente they do not allow unescorted girls and will only allow 1 in you room at a time. More upscale room but chica friendly. If you do not mind being out a little ways Hotel Beacon in Escazu is killer but you cannot have chicas unless you check in with one as your SO http://www.mybeaconescazu.com 300 thread count sheets (were 600) and just opened in March of 09. Spent 2 nights there and would stay again with wife, girlfriend.... We ended up heading to the Gulch getting chicas at HDR and then a room for 2 hours at $30.00 at Morazon across the street. Also hit a few of the MP's

I stayed at this place on my first trip to CR. They are Chica friendly but do charge $20.00 per guest. First class place IMHO http://www.grupocasaconde.com/en/cc/costarica.aspx

Shoot forgot the White House http://www.whitehousecostarica.com/ they are not too far from The Beacon but more expensive I had the penthouse for one night and it has a really cool view but it is an older property. They get good prices for their food & drinks but they do have a small casino on site and are very chica friendly. If I had to choose I would go with the Beacon though.
