(I apologize in advance if this is a duplicate topic, but a search for Motel M yielded every post with either the word "Hotel" or the letter "M" which is very nearly every post in the forums.)

My impression of Hotel M is they are attempting to cater to the "well-healed" monger. The website extols the luxury lodgings and amenities but pretty much avoids talking about the available women. Posts I've read seem to indicate the women tend to be be 8's and above but also expect more $. They seem to target clients who don't mind paying more for top shelf stuff in a setting that discourages/eliminates the riff-raff (like me :) )

Normally, I'm content with the SL/HDR + MP experience, but I also think it would be nice to experience the "upper-end". What got me thinking about it was a site that implies (at least some of) the female staff (maids, waitress and bartenders) are on the menu.

My questions are;

1) are my impressions of Hotel M accurate? and
2) if so, how well do they pull it off?

I tried to find impressions of Hotel M which BTW is a Sponsor, and got the same results he did--zip. Anybody here who can post a link to discussions of it? He's correct that it is a boutique hotel that caters to a freer-spending clientele.

Tyrus,
Thins board one one key limitation, and that's the search function. We cannot search for a phrase, or group of words in a particular order, such as "Hotel M", the search returns posts/threads that contain the keywords but not in any particular order.

But there's a way to search more effectively. Here's a hint:

If you are looking for something that is more than one word, type in the keywords in the search field and make 2 changes under Search Options:

-check Search for all terms
-check Display results as Posts

This will only return individual posts (not threads) that contain all your keywords, not just one or the other. So you won't have to read 12 pages of the threa to find the one post that contains your keywords.

You can also further weed out the relevant posts by selecting the appropriate forum under Search Options. In this case, you would probably try "Hotels, Resorts, ..."

With "Hotel M", these hints don't work because M is only one letter and many words contain it. If we had a better search feature it would make the board better.

Thanks for the links and Search tips, Brothers. One little change to the Search function would do it--enable Boolean functions, like AND, OR, NOR. An example here would be "hotel AND M" to return Threads with those terms in a pair. Maybe next gen of this PHP thing.

Thanks Orange. I had done the first, but not the second, and spent over an hour finding nothing useful.

Miamiheller, thank you very much, that was what I was looking for. You make the point in your post that its a place you will either love or hate, no indifference. That's what it sounds like in the posts.

If I decide to stay there, I will do so expecting to pay more. It sounds like my impressions are correct; they are attempting to cater to an 'elite' crowd, with varying opinions as to how well they pull it off. As with everything else, YMMV.

Again, thanks guys. :)

Tyrus, Orange and Miami, thanks for the input. I have also tried to find info on this place, once starting a thread with a similar question and getting only a URL to the Hotel M. Searches lead me nowhere as well.

I have interest in this place and will report on my stay.

The reason that there aren't many reports on the place is because I don't think many CRT's stay there. Yes, there are "high rollers" that stay there, the guys who don't mind dropping $300/hr. But most CRT's would never do that, out of principle if anything. The rooms are pricey (about $200-300/night). I took a tour of the place before they actually opened to the public, and the rooms were nice. I don't know how well they have been kept up since then, but I'm willing to bet that they are still nice. The women there are very good looking for the most part, the best that I've seen in CR. I never saw an 6's in there or any But at $200-300/hr, I'll pass. Btw, if you wait they'll come to HDR after they strike out at the M. That's what some do. Yes, there are some that only work the M and would never work HDR/SL too. So, if that's the type you're looking for, you gotta hit the M.

They're still very nice (at least as of this past July).

Most expensive room is Master at $250 / night for non-members, 1/2 that for members. That's the one I described in my TR as having a terraza large enough for a 1/2 court b-ball game.

Least expensive is Mercury at $150 / night for non-members. Spacious, but next to the kitchen.

BTW, not EVERY room has jacuzzis like I said in my TR. My bad.

As for the women, well... read my TR :D.

The M can be a good deal if you watch for their stay 4 nights get 2 free offers. In August I combined this with my membership and payed 65.00 per night for the master suite that MH described.

Two years ago I payed 2000.00 plus annual dues of 500.00, I am not sure what the current deal is. It is worth it for me as I stay there at least 30 or more room nights a year.
