I cannot decide which one to pick. My wingman just backed out and I am 8 days out. Do I stay at Amistad (King Studio) or do I keep my reservation at SL (standard deluxe room in Modern wing). I am not sure what the room looks like at SL, is this room okay? What is everyones thoughts. I would like to move to the new area of SL but they are booked. All I know is I want a comfortable King room.

You can't go wrong with either.

SL is my 1st choice. FUN FUN FUN!

LA has the best beds in San Jose! Most are memory foam type.

The biggest draw back of LA is the train in the morning! That phucking train shakes the hotel and constantly blows it horn!
If you sleep late stay with SL.

I wear ear plugs at all San Jose hotels now.

They all have some sord of noise problem.

SL's new wing is a great option. I would recommend it for a first timer, especially if you are traveling alone. Plenty of wingmen available and you don't have to walk a block to get to the party.

I think the rooms are great at Amistad. I have not heard much regarding the rooms in the "Modern Wing", are these rooms run down. I have heard the Mansion Wing is the quietest area is the Modern Wing similar?

I think people are suggesting the modern wing actually. My favorite rooms in this section are:

1. Amante
2.Las Palmas
3.Illusion
4. El Rey
5. Amistad

ANYTHING in the Mansion wing is nice, period. Also, its the section with the least noise.

SL provides so many advantages outside the great staff and rooms. For a first timer its a no brainer.. 8)

Cujo

making mountains out of anthills. If the mission is mongering in san jose, I bet 80% of guys with registered crt accounts would have no problems even if they didn't reserve a hotel room. they wouldn't be even 2 hours in the "gluch" when another crt'er would offer his hospitality.
