First time I ever heard of this sight. When I opened it could not get any prices unless filled out there form which I was unwilling to do. Not having any pricing info can only go on past experience with these type outfits and that is you can duplicate anything they offer at 50% or more discount on your own.

Why dont YOU submit your info to them and report back to us what info they send you? Also have a verifiable session or 2 with them then report back. Thats the only legitimate way to know for sure. Some of these photos are obviously made up. We dont want anybody using this board to promote new undocumented services of this nature. You're better off going with known agencys like G&G who are well documented on this board if you are new to CR mongering...

I feel I should clarify a few things based on some of the feedback.

1) I am not a promoter, nor am I promoting this site in any way.
- I have put my money where my mouth is already
- I am concerned about a trip I have already arranged through them and I'm reaching out to various communities hoping to find someone who actually knows something about them.
- I promise to follow-up and let everyone know how things turn out

2) I am not lazy and I have done an enormous amount of research, which is leading me to be concerned and that is the reason I'm looking to others who enjoy the same kind of activities that I do, again hoping that I can find someone who knows this particular service provider because it's the first time I am going to CR.
- I have experiences in the Dominican Republic, and several states in the US. I do occasionally post to TER.

3) I'm not unduly concerned if the providers are actually stars as this would not be the only service of that nature. I am very concerned about whether the whole thing is a scam and I've been setup to lose a large chunk of change.
- I found this site through TravelersDigest.com (http://www.travelersdigest.com/) which looks very legitimate to me. Again I AM NOT trying to promote ANYTHING. I'm looking for help.
- If you look in google under erotic vacations, these sites come up in the top 3 - 5. Again making me believe they're legit.

4) I am not familiar with CR at all, but I saw one person mention a service that is supposed well known and trusted. If this is endorsed by this forum, let me know more about that as an aside, but I really need to know if I'm in trouble with the vacation I have already paid for.
- I paid for hotels and companions. Some time at Helladura, Tambor Bay and Arenal.
- Immediately after I paid, I followed-up with the hotels and learned that there are no reservations in my name (The claim by the promoter is that they have their own block of rooms that they use regularly and due to the nature of the activities, things are kept quiet)
- I'm no rube, so I've been scrambling to check things out however I can, which led me to this forum and others.
- This kind of black-hole of information is not unusual with some of these promoters. For example I've been to Viking several times and obviously there's no way to check up on anything - you just need to trust that you'll be picked up at the airport and get what you paid for. The first time you hook up with any of these kinds of services is awkward. I'm just trying to fill the information void by reaching out to my peers

I'm still confused. You sound like a reasonably intelligent mongerer of means...familiar with various boards and tour companies. Yet, you already paid for a trip and THEN start asking around for verification they are legit? Most people research first, know someone who has actually used a company or service, and THEN take the initial chance. I dont think you'll find too many sympathizers here if you continue to trust in this transaction blindly. The internet...AND Costa Rica...is ripe with false marketing, promises and fake promotions. And once you get here, it's too late to rewind and get your money back. You will be offshore without legal recourse. If I were you, I'd cancel my reservation, get a refund, and either go with a legitimately known travel promoter, or just come down to Costa Rica like everyone else and deal with known legitimate agencies and services. Dont be an internet sucker. Hope this doesnt come off harsh, but something smells here...

1) I believe you when you say this isn't some backhand way to promote or shill for a site that you're somehow financially behind or connected with. I beleive you when you say you're just an innocent consumer concerned about a business that you have contracted with and put down money.

2) You may not be lazy, but I agree with TMan, the time to do the research is BEFORE you put down the money or commit yourself and not after .

3) Just because they appear on various travel websites or search engines does not necessarily make them legitimate or, even if they're legit, a good value. All that means is that they either used enough of the right words in their meta tags to get a good ranking in the search engines or more and more likely they paid the premium fees necessary to get the prime spots. Does Traveldigest endorse them or are they just a paid advertiser on that website? If you don't realize how devious and resourceful internet marketers are by now, you probably never will.

4) Do I think you got ripped off? It all depends on what you're ready to call a rip-off. I'm sure at the very least you're the victim of bait and switch. Maybe that doesn't bother you and you will be satisfied with the companions they might provide you, but you have to ask why they feel they had to put false pics up on their site to begin with and how reputable and trustworthy that very fact makes them. Its certainly possible that you may have been totally ripped off, but the absence of record at the resorts themselves is no final proof of that as their explanations are plausible. I suspect that you will get your hotels, meals and a companion of some quality or another. Hell, for what you paid ($2990 for the basic 4day/3nt package)they can afford to provide that, pay the fees to increase their web exposure and still make a hefty profit, so why do they even need to rip you off any more than they already clearly have.

Should you try to cancel? I can't say. How much have you put down so far? 50%? What have you signed? What is their refund/cancellation policy? Even if you can cancel, it looks like you'll be stuck for at least the 50% you've already plunked down. OTOH, if that's all there is, you'd still probably save $200-300/day by going independently like most of us do even after the penalty. If you go ahead with your plans and pay the full amount 45 or 21 days or whatever before, you take the chance they are in fact a total ripoff or, if they aren't, that you won't be hit with hidden fees and extras once you get there.

Why anyone would pay for a service such as this is beyond me, but anyone who is still interested or just simply curious as to what this company offers, here is a copy of the e-mail they sent to a "throwaway" e-mail box I gave them (please note the items that I highlighted in bold type):
