I talked to a couple of local sportsbook owners today and they cleaned up. A lot of the two team teaser sucker bets picking two 7 point plus favs and teasing them lost. Green Bay killed a lot of people.

To my knowledge I have never met CRT handicàpper. I do appreciate his candor in how bad he is running.

yes ...I agree on him posting on how bad he is doing,,,,NFL isnt easy anymore ...line moves were the way to go in the past ....for me ....anyone playing more than 100 a play is just asking to get crushed ...there are very few big players left ....my friend here in the states , in the past 2 weeks (week 1 lost 4000) and this week ..stuck 3400 with tonight still to go.....he bets 500 to 1000 a game ....I bet 50 to 100 a game ....and I beg him to bet less....but he is always chasing what he lost...I even told him to shut down his account and we could both play out of mine ...which only has a credit limit of 650...but he cant ...he needs the big action ...

To start with I know Sin City well and consider him a friend, his handle comes from where he lives,not how he lives. With that said I have a friend in Vegas who started a Pick Service way before the internet was thought of,He had 1-800 phone numbers advertised everywhere. one day I asked him how he does it and he replied I give half the suckers , I mean players each a different side and his policy was if your team didnt cover he would give you a free pick next week so everybody WINS If people could pick the outcome of a football game or any sport and make a decent living then I would be doing it full time. Gambling is a sickness,thank god it is not terminal. And good luck to those of us who havent learned you cant out run the juice. 10% is as strong as a garlic milkshake in the morning

BKTuna we actually have met - we met Last September at the 2008 Hotel M Poker Tourney I was the close to 60's bald guy at the bar drunk with the Hotel M hottie that I threw out of my room after 10 minutes of bullshit.

Of course it could have been the 1/2 bottle of Tanguerey I consumed that caused the issue. I'm fairl sure I have a picture in the VIP Section of me though.

Anyway Regarding the NFL - Again one of the best things to me is to actually watch EVERY SINGLE GAME in a Vegas Sports Book week after week. The final scores are not indicative of how good or bad a team plays and I've always been succesful at finding those matchups of bad teams etc.

YOu just can't figure it based on watching these teams play I know it is only week 2 completed but talk about PARITY

I met a CRT guy a few years back that actually made a living from betting sports, mostly football.. I tend to believe him because he wasn't a big talker and what he said makes sense. The only people that really make money from this are guys that treat it like a job, and pour 40-50 hours per week crunching stats. Might be exceptions but not many.

Hopefully Cubby is not betting to much on his own picks. Right now he is 5-11 for the season. (31.2%) If you were betting his picks at nickel per game you would be stuck $3550 plus his fee after just three weeks. In order for Cubby to show a small profit for the season he would have to go 41-29 or about 59% for the remainder of the season. (This is assuming approximately 5 bets per week over the 14 remaining weeks of the season. )

Maybe the best kept secret needs to stay secret!

I'm having my worst year in the last 4 years, BUT I'm still doing better than Cubby. Since I have proven myself (by Cubby's standards) I will offer my picks for ONLY $24.95/week so as to be 5 cents cheaper than him.

No Loco Mike, actually I only need to go 40-29 (58%) the rest of the way in order for me to show a profit, which is definitely doable for me. I am also 5-6 on teasers BTW, for an overall record of 10-17. But even with my horrific record this season, I am still 279-191-9 (59.4%) during the past 3 1/2 years. So a nickel bettor would still be up $34,450 betting my games the past 3 1/2 years, and that's INCLUDING my horrific start this year.

Vegas Bob, have you won a documented 59.4% or better of your picks during the past 3 1/2 seasons? At least 88 games above .500? Up 68.9 games after counting the juice? And have you had close to 500 plays during that time period? If the answer to all of those questions is yes, then maybe people should pay you $24.95 per week for your picks.
