My girlfriend of nearlly two years were discussing the future one day when she suddenly blurted out "I'll need a check for $3,000 every year". Then she added "no sex, no nothing 'til I see some money. I need to know you're serious".

"What?" I replied. She explained that she gets a $3,000 tax refund every year from Uncle Sam and that if she married me, she'd lose it and she could't live without it.

I told her "Look, if I give you money for sex, we'll both end up in jail".

Naturally she didn't like my smart azz comment too much but kept right on insisting that I pay her an annual lump sum amount of $3,000.

Several sex-free weeks went by while I tried to figure out what kind of creep I was dealing with. One night "nature" took it's course. Afterwards I found my jeans, grabbed my wallet, and threw her $30.

What's this? She asked.

"You want $3,000/year? Great. Do that 100 more times you'll have it". Haven't seen her since!

I'm still proud owner of a 980 acre farm and she still drives a Chevy Cavalier with a salvage title.
