I was at New Fantasy today with my wingman. I went for the two for one special for $70 and my wing got one girl. My session was very lackluster and it seemed like my gals were just trying to get me out the door. My buddy had an outstanding session with Jacqueline and he tipped her 4M colones.

So my question is: Are these girls at the massage parlors expecting a tip?

The korean MP's that I visit at home in the USA live off their tips so I tip accordingly. Is it the same in CR?

This can be a controversial topic because different guys do it differently. Tipping by ticos is not done...ever. But, I believe that most gringo guys do tip if a session is good. Just don't over do it.

Are you asking whether they are expecting a tip or whether you should tip? Those two questions are mutually exclusive, they should not be related. You don't have to tip them just because you think they expect a tip. Phuck that, lackluster sessions don't get jack shit. They make half the fee that you pay for the session. Anything extra should be earned, in my opinion.

As to whether you should tip, that depends on how generous you are and how good the session was. I think your friend's tip 4,000 was pretty fair. He had a great session and tipped accordingly. Your session was mechanical and lackluster, so hopefully you did not tip. The only thing better than not tipping is telling them why you are not tipping them. I doubt it will, but maybe it will show them that they actually need to put some effort into it.

Also, some of these chicas like to upsell (ask extra for bbbj, anal, etc.). They call it a tip. It's up to you to pay it. They don't have to do any specific acts. If they ask ¢5000 for bbbj, and if you pay it, consider that their tip. And don't "tip" any more. If you would have tipped ¢4000 for a good session anyway, that's only an extra ¢1000 for bbbj.
