Orange, Sorry to hear about your loss. :( I too lost a cat after 13 years, I too had to bring him to the vet and put him to sleep. I held him to his last breath and just lost it right there in the vets office. Ya, I cried he was the best. :( Some people just don't understand (Mostly my ex) that your pet is a beloved family member. I to this day still miss that fluffy cat. I never did replace her, my little dog also went thru a period of morning they were the best of friends. Remember we still have the happy pictures to look at during the good times. Take Care.

I too am sorry for your loss. I got a dog about a year and a half ago after going several years without one. I went through similar painful experiences as posted.

With that said, I would like to share a couple of funny things my fur friend, a 1 1/2 y.o. Siberian Husky affectionately named MR. Nibbles :)

At six mo., keeping a decent pair of sox was about impossible. MR. Nibbs was sitting in the living room squirming around when I noticed one of my socks hanging out of his asshole. I escorted him outside to try and run it out of him. We are close, but close enough for me to pull it out :) After a few laps in the yard he pushed it out

That was not the end of it, a few days later I was mowing and went over that sock and shot it onto the neighbors fence

Not to be out done, a few months later, my GF was staying over. Mr. Nibbles found a tampon in the trash and brought it into the living room where a game of take away started, it was a horror scene for her and funny as hell for me :D

I'm sorry I just had to respond to this. That is some funny shit, I'm still here laughing my as off. I lost at the game of take away started. God love these animals for the laughter and joy they all bring.

I used to have a dog who was a monger at heart. If there was a tampon in the trash can, he'd find it and eat it with great relish. He was also a horny little guy and loved to pf#ck the sofa pillows with great passion. But, one day when I was gone he got his d#ck caught in the crewel work on a pillow and couldn't free himself. By the time I got home and snipped the threads that bound him, he was swollen and in pain, especially when he stepped on the pillow that he was dragging around by his dong. His privates were purple by that time and he'd yelp with pain for two days every time he did his business. Still, he loved his pillows until his dying day
