Hi,
I wanted to update on my tour operator experience. I am staying at Hotel La Amistad and there is a tour operator - Alex Palma. THe good part is he speaks english and is excellent at organizing tours. We went to Canopy ( Excellent tour ) and White Water rafting.
Had lot of fun and the best part was hassle free.
I will have a tour report soon in the tour report section.
Below ar ehsi details
Alex Palma - 8846-6868

I am staying at the La Amistad in a week. I inquired about a pick up at the airport because I am arriving late. His price was very unreasonable. I have a tour guide that I use given to me by the Clinica Biblica international desk if anyone is interested, great prices very trustworthy.

To All

Most do not want to Pick Up from the airport because of delays in customs, plane delays.... It is always best to take a cab out front which are reasonable and always immediately available. Alex price is the same as a cab for transport from the Hotel to Airport.

Or if you are travelling light, walk around to the front of the airport and catch a bus. Less than a dollar and they end up fairly near the gulch. I would guess that a taxi from the bus stop would be minimal. This area is not bad like the Coca Cola.

I have been using Interbus the last few times I have gone to CR. It is only $9.50 each way. They wait for you outside the airport with a sign and then take you to your hotel. You can also schedule your ride back to the airport. They take Paypal which makes it safe and easy. Here is the link:
