You got that right.
I'm a long way from fluent, but being able to actually talk to the girls and understand them makes it so much easier to negotiate, especially for details. And, at least for me, it makes my time with them much more enjoyable, being able to communicate clearly.
I've learned all my Espanol from CDs and from traveling and I still speak like a tourist with a limited vocabulary. But even that helps me enjoy my time with the ladies much more.
