Not sure whom you speak of here

I seem to recall a few others in the game that had a similar a dispostion on the course (Jack, Hogan, Tom W.) and none were accused of such character flaws.
Hogan claimed to have not even noticed a Hole in one by his playing partner during one round.
If walking 72 hole with a torn ACL and winning a tournament wasn't testimony enough for you......there is always the LPGA

If I didn't mak0e it clear, I am talking about a superhuman athlete who curses, throws clubs, and in short makes other athletes of all sports (except perhaps pro wrestling) look tranquilo and gentlemanly by comparison. I'm talking about an athlete who, whether or not we choose to acknowledge it is an example to young people.
Playing with a torn ACL and winning has nothing to do with his level of sportsmanship, or lack thereof. It just shows he's a freak of nature and a great player...but being a great player is not the same as being sportsmanlike.
Contrast Tiger's typical behavior with Tom Watson, for example. Watson has accepted defeat with grace and class.
Actually, all that being said, I thought Tiger was amazingly cool and professional after losing the tournament by only three strokes. Yang won the tournament, largely because Tiger couldn't get his putting act together; Tiger freely and quietly acknowledged that and was a gentleman for most of the tournament.
Excellence in any endeavor doesn't excuse one from having to be polite and gentlemanly. There are too many "bad boys" in professional sports. JMHO.
