Some buddies and I will be staying the weekend in Jaco, and I am looking for accomodations that allow female company. If anyone has had good experiences with a place to stay, please let me know.

Ok everyone, spare me the I hate Jaco speech. Just passing along info that I received this afternoon. Poseidon has always been chica friendly, but recently he dropped the chica fee to $10 across the board. No matter who you are, no special favors. I know the dark socks are not interested. 8)

If it's any help TW,

I LOVE Jaco. I've never had a problem there and I know a number of CRTers that feel the same. It's got a great surf/beach vibe and is riddled with a ton of hot, scantilly clad chicas. It's always a part of my trip to CR and I look forward to Jaco and the BB in about 2 weeks! For the guys who don't like Jaco.. STAY AWAY!!! :D

You come quite a bit. I'll remember two weeks and we'll definitely have to have a beer while you are here.

I’ll be on my inaugural visit to Costa Rica for 6 nights including the Labor Day weekend, and these “love it or hate it” rants about Jaco have really piqued my interest. I might just slip away from the gulch and drop by to see what it’s all about for a Sunday-Monday stay!

Personally, I love Jaco and would never come to CR without stopping in Jaco!! 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

Hotel Cocal is chica friendly, as is Estrellamr. I've stayed both, liked both but would go with Cocal. :D

I've been to Jaco, but i probably wouldnt go back again.

Unless you're a surfer, i dont see why you would want to check out Jaco on your 1st trip.

If you're there for chicas, the talent and prices will be better in SJ- HDR/SL.

If you want to visit the beach, you're better off going to manuel antonio or if you have the time go to Guanacaste. Jaco beach is pretty dirty, i wouldnt' go in that water.

Like I said in another thread. Especially on the weeknds, hit the cocal pool for a drink. It is hit and miss like most daytime action. But I have seen some decent looking chicas there recently.

Hotel Cocal also rents condos at Vista Mar.

I stayed there recently and highly recommend the Vista Mar condos.

Ours was a huge ocean view end unit 3br/3.5ba, washer/dryer, full kitchen, covered parking, wrap around balconies, flat screen tv in the living room with dvd player, each bedroom also had a tv and dvd player, 2 central ac units.
VERY NICE!

The Vista Mar has its own pool and jacuzzi. You also can use the 2 pools at the Cocal.

This is the way to go in Jaco!

Breakfast is included at the Cocal oceanfront resturant.

Off season price of $200/night. The off season price range is $275 -$200. They easily gave us the $200 rate. Dry season pricing range much higher.

No fees for additional guests. 24hr security will hold the chicas ID while she visits.

Seems like the chicas cruise thru the casino. Mostly at night.

Cool post. Thanks for the info. I just book the 4th fl 3bd condo. I'm paying $225 but I'm ok with it. Previously we paid $60 each for 3 poolside rooms. The condos look way nicer, so it's all good. 8)

I think you'll enjoy the condo.

Ours was an end unit 2A.

4th floor will have a much better view and may explain the extra $25.

The end units are larger then the inside units and have a wrap around balcony.

I've always enjoyed the Copacabana, despite the frequent lack of hot water, and poor water pressure on the third floor. They've cleaned up the beach, and last spring there were ladies around the pool every day offering afternoon delights. The Cocal is nice too. Both are on the beach.

The Copa owner has not kept the property up.

Throwing a tarp over a leaking roof instead of fixing the leak is a prime example.

One of my wingmen was eaten alive by FLEAS in his bed!

At first we thought it was bed bugs.

Turned out to be FLEA bites!

We are done with the COPA !

I am going to try the Cocal the week of Sept 28 for one night. I want to do some fishing for one day. Is this hotel near the marina?

I believe Beatle Bar is the place for Chicas. Any other opportunities in Jaco to find Chicas?

Beatle Bar is the epicenter of action.

Girls cruise in and out of the casino at the Hotel Cocal as well.

For Happy Hour check out El Bohio beach bar. Ocassionally some girls there.

Claritas happy hour also some girls cruise thru there.

Divas Strip CLub on top of Pancho Villas, but be careful buying chicas drinks and running a tab.

Pancho Villas late night has some action ocassionally.

Dont mess with the street walkers. They are trouble. Lots of trannies, crack addicts, und***ge etc.

Police presence has increased in Jaco big time over the last couple of years.

The Los Suenos marina is about 10 mins or less North of Jaco.
