Jet Blue's website could drive you crazy. You can fly from point A-B or B-C, but not A-C. In some cases you can fly to a given city, but not back. In any case the cities listed below are ones you can fly TO from San Jose, CR.
* Austin,TX (AUS)
* Boston, MA (BOS)
* Buffalo, NY (BUF)
* Burlington, VT (BTV)
* New York, NY (LGA)
* New York City (JFK)
* Newark, NJ (EWR)
* Newburgh, NY (SWF)
* Orlando, FL (MCO)
* Portland, ME (PWM)
* Richmond, VA (RIC)
* Rochester, NY (ROC)
* San Juan, PR (SJU)
* Syracuse, NY (SYR)
* Washington, DC/Dulles (IAD)
* White Plains, NY (HPN)

I also note that the $599 fare does not include the taxes and fees which can add up quickly.

Jet blue does fly out of Long Beach (LGB) to Austin (AUS).

They have a non-stop leaving LGB at 10:06 AM and arriving AUS at 3:04 PM. The return is leaving AUS 5:55PM arriving LGB 6:54 PM.

They also have 3 flights between 9PM-10PM, but they don't arrive until the next day. I doubt that many would like that lay over somewhere.

I have no idea if that is included in the "unlimited flight fares".

They also nail you for all international taxes and fees. That's about $100 extra a flight. No taxes or fees domestic. I think other airlines will follow and we'll all be good!

The only city Jetblue flies to SJO from is Orlando. If you want to go to SJO on Jetblue, you have to fly to Orlando first.

Not necessarily true. I can jump in my car and be at the Orlando Airport in about 45 minutes! No flight necessary !!! :P :lol: Sorry, but I had to!!! Sometimes it's good to live in Florida! :wink:

You think this is a good deal to go to SJO
Lets do some math
Jet Blue $599 for one month plus $100 for the international tax...
Two trips to CR $799 and they must be done in one month...
Three trips if you could $899
Plus Jet Blue does not connect well from many US cities thus an over night
add at least $ 70 for a flea bag or sleep in the airport
This offer is great if it is with in the 48
So bottem line Jet Blue to SJO twice $799
My way if you want to go to SJO twice from now untill December
Fly from Boston ... or drive to Orlando and stay with MG
$556 all in tax included and no fee for a bag
That is a savings of $243 and I do not have travel all in one month
I like Jet Blue, but they are a point to point airline
I had nothing to do so ..................

Yes, but look at all the free publicity JetBlue is getting here. This one plus Threads by Boxer1 and Tiger811. Viral marketing at it's best.
