Is Sportsman's Lodge chica friendly to girls you bring in from the outside? Do they ever charge a chica fee. Also, if you bring a girl in, do they hassle her for ID. I am staying there for a few days, and plan to spend the last night with a regular girl "novia" and don't like when they assume she's a puta. She's actually an attorney I met in Guanacaste who wants to visit me in San Jose for a few days before heading up to Tamarindo area.

You can bring in or take out just about anybody. Never a chica fee at Sportsmens... :D

You can't control if other people thinks she's a puta or not, so don't worry about it.. :|

The way I understand it is that ANY female who enters SL has to show ID and sign in. No fee but it's policy I believe. Also, if you're bringing a "non" puta, you may want to fill her in about where you're staying prior to her arrival as once she comes in there isn't much doubt about what
transpires there and i'm sure you don't want her to feel uncomfortable.

Actually, I was there once when there wasn't much doubt about what was going on there... and you would have been completely wrong...

A couple had stayed at the SL one night (tourists from England, I believe), and they walk out in the morning for breakfast, and there's nothing but a bunch of guys - most in their 50s, hanging around drinking coffee, reading the paper, chatting and relaxing, when Sandman leans over to me and says "I bet they think they stayed at some gay hotel last night..."

LMAO, Good point, so TicaG should bring the "non puta lady friend" in during the early morning hours and keep her there until the next morning and she'll never have a clue. Too funny!

I think if you are a guest there, then yes, you have to sign in all your guests, p4p or non. If you are not staying there and only going to the bar or to watch a game with a woman, then you don't have to sign her in I believe. My women never signs in with me, but I don't stay there, I always stay at an apartment "off campus".

Probably braught my little friend there 30 - 40 times & NEVER signed her in, whether as a guest or not. When you walk in, just say "No", "Not necessary" or "Mi novia" or any combination & as long as she's with you there will be zero hastle. That was on of the positives we had.

I just got back from CR this week. I tried something a little different and had a "very good friend" stay with me all 3 nights at the SL. She would usually leave about 10AM to go home and see her K*ds for 2-3 hours and return. She always wore her work clothes home in the AM. On Sunday morning, as we were coming through the bar to go eat some breakfast, there is an American family (dad, hot mom, 3 K*ds) eating breakfast at the big table in the bar. We walk through and I get the dirtiest look from the wife and a wistful look from the dad. Priceless!!

All girls are "outside girls" at the Sportsman's Lodge. Just, we have a habit of referring to the girls that primarily work only there as a SL girl. And never a "chica fee".

In Contrast. Man, when I stayed at the Del Rey, they tried to charge me each time I entered with the same girl, the same day ! So if you have a girl stay the night and go out several times with her you could end up paying more in "guest fees" than you did for the girl. That is if you don't watch your bill.

Damn, I couldn't imagine staying at the DR. How do they know if a chica goes up with you?
I guess to me that's a huge benefit of SL. For as many times as we like to get small groups together (chicas always included) to go to the room and freshen up, it looks like it would cost a fortune at DR.

I never even thought of that angle in my "I would never stay at the DR" rants..

So they charge you chica fee's whether you going up to session or just bullshit? Damn.... :|

Many times I have seen families, couples and young women there (U.S., Canadian and/or European women about 20 to 30). Sometimes the young women are with their boyfriends. Sometimes there are two or three unescorted young women. They typically look like back packer types.

One time I went to the SL with my 12 year old daughter. We were near the Teatro Nacional and decided to take a taxi to the SL. When we got in the taxi and I told the taxi driver where to take us he refused. He said that the SL is a casa de citas.

In Spanish I said something that sounds like, “Just because I am a gringo and I want to go to a gringo restaurant with my own daughter you make stupid and sick conclusions. You judge me and other gringos with your repugnant and detestable way of thinking. You need to see a psychiatrist and get serious help. You are a sick phuck.”

The guards did not ask my 12 year old to sign in.
