Now that the bar has been open for a few weeks how is the vibe/crowd turning out? Are people hanging there at all or is it still an automatic trip down the street to SL?

Just interested in how it's evolving. How is the drink pricing, btw?

I have not been there since the bar opened, but from from what I understand, La Amistad is not trying to compete with the crowd from the SL. La Amistad tries to draw from a wider crowd than the SL and tries to attract many types of travelers. I am not sure he wants working girls hanging out in his bar. I don't know this for sure but this is the impression I was given.

yes, that's my understanding as well. It's definitely not trying to compete with the SL. Just wondering what kind of vibe it's developing on its own, whether the guys hang out there with their individual girls, etc. My understanding was that unaccompanied working girls were not going to be welcome at the bar

Idea, Shadowman (because that is my understanding as well....no unescorted birds of the night in the Amistad's setting): Hold the bench down which is just inside the locked gate and when any girls want to in...are ejected or whatever.....do the only gentlemanly thing and be their escort! :P :P :P

Matt.....you know how important that bench is to me.....perhaps I've found yet another use?! :P :P :P

Brothers
I am sure that you can bring a girl to the bar and have a nice meal if you wish. Matt treats us like gold... give him the same... well behaved girls as your guest will be be treated as a guest. Try not to bring a girl that can not wait to show her boobs to you to the bar ... up to the room with her...
Get it
I bet it will happen ? It is a bar and............... :D
Some guy will whip a batch of cookies and the rest will be History
Be cool at La Amistad and they will be cool with you

ah....I was only funnin' Hank.

I like the idea of a mellow place to be as oppossed to the pirate like aspects of the SL bar.....the combo of the two is swell: Acquire your hottie and SL, have some fun....then head back to home, hottie in tow.....and enjoy the new hangout at Amistad. I am anxious to get to business, but have a bit of "work" that needs completing before I can get back in late Oct.... 8)
