That's interesting, I look younger than my age and go through CR customs at least every 6 weeks, and have never had anyone "grill" me or even make a comment about my age or the fact that I was travelling alone. I guess confidence and a bit of spanish go a long way.

Not so fast on the immune ability potion. For starters, I do not believe that any healthy male going to CR is immune to the noviohood lovesickness. We are men and our dicks will rule the day until we die. The faster you can accept that, the easier it will be to control those urges. Not age, maturity, economics or education background will make us immune to it.

I think that Cujo just like many others have not met the right one yet. That’s right; she is out there, waiting on him. Waiting to make him the next Cujo-tide. It might be the perfume that she wears or how she combs her hair but something about her will be so desirable that he will want to be the next Capt-Save-A-Ho. And the longer that he goes to CR or any other destination it will happen. It is just a matter of statistical numbers.

Now that we have addressed the problem, we can attempt to find a solution.

On his favor is education. He is an avid contributor to the forum and keeps up with the CR comings and goings. The problem is that is just not enough to know about it, he needs to practice what he preaches as well as avoid any pitfalls. This is where you hear guys argue that “Mine is different”. They know better, they have read every story. Story after story in the Novio section is living proof of how bad can it gets but they still trying to beat the “train”. So Cujo needs to keep his guard up at all times because the day that he belief that he is immune to noviohood, it is the day that he will start filling out those RFM’s to his novia.

Speaking from experience, I agree it's possible for anyone to fall at any age under the right (or is it wrong?) circumstances.

However, the wealth of experience you young guys have and continue to build up will make you go, "I've heard that one before" when you receive 99% of the typical wannabe chica requests.... which you probably won't even get in the first place, because the chicas will know better after seeing how you roll... not to mention they won't dare try the typical chica dramas, either.

I would say in general the younger crowd tends not to be so discrete because younger people have more lessons to learn as I did when I was young.

Generally speaking, as we get older we tend to gain maturity.

To elaborate on why i feel younger generation should use more discretion and not boast or broadcast what they do here in CR is because in the long run it will hurt them as well as rest of us.

allow me to explain...

Lets say conservatively 10% of the HS or college monger eventually gets caught by their girlfriends or worse parents(the mother). And is forced to explain what they've done in CR or what goes on in CR, then sooner or later the social network of women of all ages will be well informed regarding CR.

This cannot be good for the rest of us.

We all have different agendas on coming down to CR, but more or less we all have common interest. I just dont want immaturity with certain people to ruin this "getaway" for us going forward.

It is not very accurate to generalize about age as it relates to behavior in costa rica. I have seen young guys act cool and reserved and understand the game and I have seen ( more times than I care to remember) older guys act the fool.
It really does depend on the individual.
By the way, I am one hundred percent immune to falling for a working chica or semi working chica.

I'm still trying to find where in my post I said "OLDER" guys.....

Although I do see how it sounds inferred, I have to say that it does seem like my older counterparts come across this. And I was simply pondering if this is something waiting for me.

I think that an advantage I may have over others is that latinas don't light my fire in a way that would have to be done for me to fall for a working girl. As I say, don't get me wrong, I'll party and Phuck, but that's that.

I'd be more interested in being friends (dare I say FWB in CR ) with a chica then a novio....

Over the years I've learned from seasoned mongers on this board that as you get older your scope of women decreases, meaning you are more apt to date within your age.

Perhaps after coming to this realization (which I'm sure is not too far for me) and living with it for years; I would be more suseptible to an early 20 something showing true feelings.

So since my scope is so far pretty much the same, the chances of falling for a girl in CR (like for real fall for her) is almost non existant.

Always remember; Men are as faithful as their options....

The less bunny's we have to hunt for the more likely were apt to catch one and hold on to it.....

One of the things I'm most thankful for is the great guys I know on this board. I've always tried to learn from the more "experienced" and completely conceede I'm a better wiser guy for it.

I'm at a point to where I really want to pay attention and without those guy's in their "40's 50's & 60's I'm sure I would make some mistakes.

Often times I leave with a feeling that we learn from eachother. Being able to talk to someone who is in the same game as you but older can offer great insight.

Conversly being an older guy and taking tips from the younger can be just as beneficial.

Its not that Monger are getting younger. It is that we are listening to the older guys; the mistake they have made and how they are treated in relationship and we don't want to make the same mistake. so we are just following there lead to a better life...
