Almost any restaurant or soda, except those who specialize in an ethnic food, will have a chuleta (pork chop) on the menu.

The best? Like all things subjective there will be a large amount of candidates mentioned.

"Pork Chop Hill"

Known to Ticos as "Casa Alcides", and known to gringos as "Donde Alcides" up in the mountains past Desamparados. This place has the best grilled pork chops I have ever eaten. If you are looking for a chuleta in a Tico casado, I don't know if this place has those.

Orange, I agree, but the place is 40 minutes outside of SJ....and well worth the drive.
