How awesome was it to see Dan Henderson knock out that big mouth Brit..

That should keep you quite for a bit homey...you just got Knocked theFuck Out!!!!!!!

Hated to see Donkey Kong pull off the victory though. Good job GSP 8)

... and I liked the "extra" shot to the head that Henderson gave him while he was on the ground. That kinda put the "exclamation point" on Bisping running his mouth! But Lesnar ? Damn !!!

I thought it was a cheap shot by Henderson and lost respect. MMA is a vicious game I realize but some perspective has to be in order. People are going to run their mouths, if not for that the pre fight hype would be a lot less interesting. I didn't follow the pre fight talk from Bisping but was it really so much that Henderson should have intentionally tried to deliver that final blow that could have caused serious and permanent damage? Any half wit knew the fight was over when Henderson clocked him with the right hand and Bisping essentially had already taken two big shots(the right hand and then his head hitting the ground) when that final blow was delivered.

Lesner was impressive and prepared- takedown, overpower, maul Mir's face with clean shots. This was easily the best ground game Lesner showed so far. Using his legs to pin Mir's arm down so he was defenseless was scary good.

Yeah.... Lesnar is a real class act! You brought up the 2-finger salute, but you forgot to mention him saying "I might even go home and get on my wife tonight" ! Yup. A real class act!

If Lesner would have kept beating Mir after it was over, especially if Mir was unconscious, I would say the same thing. The difference is the very real possibility of seriously hurting someone who already finished and cannot defend himself vs a guy that's obnoxious as hell.

FWIW, Lesner was far better than I thought. He left himself vulnerable for a few seconds when Mir almost connected with that knee but other than that he was deadly.

Someone like Henderson (to me) is afforded the lattitude of getting in one last shot. Its not like it's the first time it has happened in a fight. Lesnar still has a long way to go before he could be afforded the same lattitude.

And by the looks of it, he isn't winning the fans over so I guess it will be some time before he gets any respect.

I don't think any fighter should get to take shots on a guy that taps out or is unconscious.

Fortunately on Friday I mentioned to someone who follows MMA that there had not been any MMA fights in a while otherwise I might have been doing something else and missed them.

St Pierre looks like he might end up great. He looks kind of silly in his Kung Fu GI Joe suit but he's just such a great fighter.

I don't either but it happens nearly every fight there is a KO/TKO..

GSP looks real good. Would love to see him fight Silva.. 8)

That's the match-up I'm waiting to see! Anderson 'the spider' Silva is outstanding and very elusive. But IMO - Silva versus GSP would be a great fight!
