For you Delta flyers, what is this all about?

When booking my flight, I selected my seats. I was not charged extra for them. Now, I read something on their website about paying for "choice" seats.

So will I have to pay to choose new seats at check-in or will I get the seats I chose?

Gracias.

I booked today for August, the exit row seats are not extra for medallion club members. I do not know if there is a charge for others.

I'm certainly not the last word on this but I do fly Delta quite often. There are certain rows of seats that are reserved for people paying full fare. This may be what they refer to as choice seats. If you made a reservation online and selected your seat at that time that is the seat you will have when you check in. There is no extra charge for the privilege.

I paid an extra $15 or $25 to get an ailsle seat in the front of coach. My orginial seat when I booked online was near the back. I did this about 4 hours before takeoff

Being a medallion member I get to choose from preferred seats so I've never even paid attention to the Coach Choice seats, but here's the FAQ- http://www.delta.com/help/faqs/coach_choice/index.jsp

Hi Guys look up the seatguro.com or google " seatguru" put in the type of aircraft , name of airline and it is pretty neat. Give it a try. I am retired Delta and take the seat they give me but if you are booking this is handy. I am going tomorrow as a matter of fact . Delta has 3 non stops on Sunday but they look pretty full. I will be taking my girlfriend of 8 years and her son to Doubletree Puntarenas for a few days since the school is out. It is the old Fiesta Resort. 2 years ago it cost me $ 1,200 but now Hilton has taken it over and upgraded it but with low business this year I am happy to say just over $ 600.00 for all inclusive 2 rooms 4 days 3 nights give it a look over as well. Happy travels always, Uncle H.
