New to CR and staying at the SL. Coming in with a buddy. We've done Rio, but the flights were ridiculous. So, after lots of research, we decided on CR. It's 1/3 of the price. Hoping to meet some regulars at SL for best advice. 1st drink is on my buddy!! Can't wait for next Friday. I did find dirt cheap flights for Rio from JFK 10/29-11/6. $333 RT, we paid $1200. Can't beat that and it's my birthday week. The place is nuts.

Where did u find Rio for $333? Done Rio twice. At that price I whould definately do it again.

SL is the bomb!!! You will enjoy. Do some research on the board and you'll be fine.

I'll really be curious how you think Rio stacks up to CR. After doing a lot of reading, I think Rio will blow away CR so please give a write up when you get a chance comparing the 2.

Rio was JFK to GIG. Saw it on Travelzoo weekly emails. Couldn't pass that price up.

Rio was great, I'm sure CR will be just as fun. The only bad thing is there's no beach. It's definitely a lot closer. I will def write up the comparison.
