The kind I buy for EVERY trip includes emergency air medivac insurance if I get sick or injured. I don't know many folks who can afford $25-$50K for an air ambulance back to the states. I know I can't.

Better check the fine print I am sure the one I read said medivac to the nearest hospital,not medivac back home. Also Access America Insurance sucks they ripped me off. The story , I missed a flight in Dec. 08 gave 72 hours notice that I was in the hospital. I sent all the proper forms and DR. notes and was given the run around so Phuck them. I called the airline back got someone with a brain on the phone and they gave me full credit to a flight that I will use in less than 1 week. Also you can buy a legit policy from your real insurance people for less money and I bet they get you back to the USA. Safe and happy travels amigos :wink:
