It's fine - 3-hour flight, no issues other than the normal Spirit cramped leg space and 'nickel & dime you for everything' business practices.

And if you're lucky, you'll see as many hot Colombianas on the plane as we did on the way down there...

I booked for May $18 r/t plus taxes, guess I will save my free trip on aa.com for later in the year.

I took one there before. Many hot colombiana on my plane which I counted about 6 that I would like to bang in 1 plane!! thats like 3-4X more than any other plane I've been on(not counting flight attendants)

Con: very cramped up leg space n no food or beverage. I spent about $50 in food n beverage alone. I rather pay 50 more for other Airline which has more leg room and meal or snacks included.

Never flown them but my wingman has. He says the $45 for the "Big Seat Up Front" is well worth it.

I would agree...besides the comfort, being 1st off the plane means you zip through customs!

Was a similar story when I went in April. Watched in horror as these mofos get digits with a bunch of hotties a few rows back  Ehhh. so fuckin what! They were well into their thirties... no need to play with anything that age in Medellin!

Spirit...thank GOD for Spirit Airlines!!! PS Jet Blue is getting into the3 fray..service starting soon from FLL to SDQ :D

It was actually 60 for me but my question is.. does that 45 or 60 or what ever upgrade your whole flight(ida y vuelta) or just 1(ida) ?

One flight segment.

I paid $150 to upgrade from Miami to Medellin on AA but it was BIZ Class and not just a bigger seat. Of course all that got me was a slightly better meal and free drinks.

Some of my best times, including in Medellin, have been in the 29-38 age bracket. Remember the old adage: Half your age + 7. That puts my prime "companion" at 35. Nothing wrong with that.

That reminds me, I need to call a certain young lady in Medellin and wish her a Happy (22nd) Birthday today!
