I've finally realized that Spanky is...more right than wrong. Dare I say it....CR (mostly) sucks! But I'll still go, it's most convenient for me travel wise, and HLH is all I really need.

You didn't read all of it, I'll still be going to CR! Sosua is in a true third-world shithole, I'm staying the phuck out of Colombia (they don't want gringos there? Fine with me!), Rio is too far and expensive (plus I hate the beach), and all of SEA could be nuked and I wouldn't miss it (and it's way too far).

The Del Rey does suck though, which is why I haven't set foot in it for over a year!

If your tour biz doesn't take off maybe you can give power-nap lessons anyone that can get all that sleep right next to the friggen train tracks must have some secret.

Hiker Tom, don't take this the wrong way but I am a little (to say the least) confused. You have found fault with just about every place in CR except the one place most of us are finding fault with (HLH). Every one is raving about all these other countries and you have a problem with all of them. And all your reasons are the words of some one that has never been to any of them, and your reasons are based on missinformed hearsay for the most part. I can not speak first hand for the other places, but your comment about Colombia could absolutely not BE FUTHER FROM THE TRUTH!! (good old USA government propoganda) I had a condo in Bogota for 3 years and I traveled over much of the country. I never once met anyone with any anamosity nor outward dislike for gringos. Quite the contrary, they were very interested to met and talk with gringos. They were always very courteous, polite, friendly, and helpful. And even walking the streets of the zona rojo in Bogota at 1-2 in the morning, I never once felt any danger. Every city in Colombia is much much cleaner, safer, and very modern comparied to San Jose and most cities in the USA.

Try it some time! You might find that you like it (Colombia) . I certainly would not spend my money to come here JUST FOR HLH JMHO!

Spanky, we need to get some T-shirts made in September!

Some of the heated debates lately are just silly, like the one over whether a newbie should email a chica. Lighten up gentlemen. Opinions about this MP is best and that MP blows or the HDR sucks or don't spend your money there and that place sucks...The info available here is great but there's more than one way to enjoy the hobby and we all eventually find our favorite places, routine, and women to fit our budget. No need to cram our routines or favorite places down each other's throats.
BTW this thread was created as a joke and the only one who probably takes CR sucks seriously is Spanky. (and who gives a shit what he thinks)

One great thing about CR - there is something for everyone and every budget. Now can we stop the petty bickering and get back to enjoying life.
