Disculpa el ruido Slim.

Excuse me for the noise coming from Room No. 3 Slim.

You must have slept through most of the Room No 3 activities because it went on for several days.

On their website, they got a single charge, a double charge, an extra person charge, a this charge and a that charge. Way too complicated a rate table. How much is a cheap room in off season for one person? And if you want to bring someone in for a few hours?

This is the "green season" so you will pay $44.00 per night for a standard room (the least expensive). If you share the room, the rate increases to $50 for the "double" and then again by another $5 to $55/night for a third person. There are no chica fees.

There is a discounted room rate for CRT VIP members. I believe the standard room discounted rate is $38 (a savings of $6 per night). The last time I paid for my VIP membership, the annual fee was $39. If you join VIP, you can recoup that amount after your first week at Castillo.

Last I was there two years ago there were DEFINITELY some unaccompanied working girls at the bar and restaurant, most of the time.

Is this a matter of: (a) change in policy, so they're no longer allowed; or (b) 'policy' vs. 'reality'?

It was nice on a rainy night to stay at the hotel, drink a few brews, and chat up some of the girls. Might not be such a good option if the only people there were fellow mongers!

Just spent a week there. Only time girls were at the bar outside was if they had just finished in a room and were trying to find a quickie. Or with someone. Management did not have a problem with them hanging out. Stay was great. Always a great room and service at Castillo.

Two years ago the resturant (Gardens at that time) was under different management. It is now Las Palmas and has different management and policies. You can take your chicas there but they do not allow unescorted putas.

The resturant has the same owner as the hotel but it is leased to someone else. The resturant management is free to establish their own policies.

About the Castillo...
Cash discount, weekly rate discount, CRT discount. It doesn't get much cheaper uness you are willing to settle for much less. NEVER a chica free and free breakfast. Great staff, American manager on site and always a bunch of CRT brothers in attendance. It's not SL but rather SL ratched down several notches. :D

Probably the best value in SJ.
