Hey all,

I’m planning a trip in September for our usual group of 5 and would like some help/suggestions with regard to a Jaco trip.

We like staying at the Copacabana but I find the BB to be spotty at best and this time, I'm trying to think of a way to arrange things in advance. I'm not a noob at CR but I'm wondering if there is an interest by any of the chicas (either in SJ or Jaco) to basically go on a partially paid Holiday. They could lay at the pool during the day when my buddies and I went doing what we do and then go out to dinner with us during the nights and just chill afterwards by the pool, etc. Thing is, I would not want to be paying by the hour. If this is a non-starter, does anyone know of any drivers in the area with a good knowledge of the local action (if any) outside of the BB?

Anyone successfully do this before? Any thoughts appreciated.

Yes, there are many girls who would accompany you for between $100-$200 per day. They might be even more willing if they were going with other girls that they like.

The problem is two fold: First, there are more girls that will do as little as possible, will bitch and moan until you are crazy and will try to make every trip away from the hotel a shopping jaunt as there are girls who will give you a great deal for the money. Odds are less than 50-50 for a good time if you don't have prior knowledge of the girls.

Second, it would be nearly impossible for you to collect five girls independently who will not try to kill each other at every opportunity. Unless they are "friends" before you start you are likely to spend the majority of your time refereeing the melee!

So, in essence, you have painted yourself into a corner: Go to Jaco and take your chances with the BB girls or take some pigs in pokes with you and take your chances.

My advise: Forget that sweat-hole Jaco and stay in San Jose.

Recent reports here are that the talent at BB is equal to what you'd find at random in the usual independent haunts in SJ. Try a PM to somebody on the ground in Jaco to confirm--the 2 who've posted so far don't like Jaco by their own admission.
