They are really not handing out rain checks, there taking the coupon and your filling out a form that they will turn in. Good thing I wrote down the coupon number, I still have three left. I realize that it's 1 coupon per customer, so why does the website allow 4 coupons per I.P. address? Maybe they are concidering that the average family has 4 people. I more pissed about having to drive 5 miles each way and wasting gas than the dam coupon. Funny thing is the girl at the counter said rain check or 1 free piece of chicken, I should have given her all 4 coupons and had a meal. Oprah's going to lose some money over this publicity stunt.

honesty is the best policy when that cunt says free chicken than there better be free chicken. look at Denny's they gave away free breakfast they kepted there word plus for kfc it is bad business they are trying to turn things around and this happens. chicken is cooked and has to be sold within a certain time frame i personally did not go to either establishment for the free food, but would expect both to be particiapating in it

They didn't run out of chicken like they're saying. There was always chicken available for sale, just not for free. This was a straight-up scam, plain and simple.

Here's what some people are speculating happened: KFC and the fat bitch got together and came up with this idea to make money:

Offer some free food in a shitty economy and millions will go for it. But really, it's just a way to:

-get people into the restaurant (many wound up buying it since they were already there)
-get people to visit the coupon website (ad money)
-get people to download the coupon printer adware/spyware software
-get people to fill out a raincheck with name and address (to spam them with junk)

Each of those parts makes them money. If any of you filled out the raincheck form, they probably sold your name to some 3rd party who will now bombard you with junk mail.

I'm a person of principal, Don't offer it if your not going to deliver. I will not give up on this one. I'm not a big KFC fan only because of the grease from many of the food items, however the chicken taste great. I visit 2-4 times a year, not anymore. KFC will not see me till they honor the offer. Churches chicken serves a better meal for the money anyway.
