I had a very nice stay in Room 211 at the Hotel LaAmistad. I stayed 5 nights so the laundry service provided by the maids was great. (gave 2000 colonie(sp) tip) The room was extremely clean for CR and mattress and king size bed was outstanding. Perhaps the Castillo could learn from this as there mattresses are very old and worn out. The room was large enough however there is only 1 small window which faces a outside wall. The TV was large and new and AC worked great and was quiet. The bathroom was good and ample size. There was all the hot water you need and the shower drained good. As always a new combination safe is so much better and safer than a key safe. I will continue on another post as I don't want to time this out.

The breakfast was great although I would like the OJ and Leche put in ice buckets as they were warm. Pancakes, eggs cooked to order, omlettts, very nice for free breakfast. Mostly all CRT's were guests at least when I was there. The bar was not open but they have a great plasma on the wall and the best bar in town is only 1 block down the hill at the SL. There was a lot of fresh talent there in the afternoon. You have to be buzzed in and out but was no problem. I think the location was great and the train was a non factor. No extra charges on the bill (ie mini bar, no phone charges. Anyway I had a great time there, but then again I always have a great time in CR

Is this something new? Doesn't your room key open the gate from outside and isn't there a button you just push to get out?

Why doesn't Matt really show his appreciation and throw a Labor Day party this year? 8)

Ha, thought you'd jump with a quick answer on that one. I'm shameless when it comes to getting a good party together. A bunch of friends and bitches... it's why I come to CR
