You may also book Interbus at this web site: http://www.shuttlebus.co.cr/index.php
They are a broker and usually are a little cheaper.

You can also book Interbus here. http://www.geckotrail.com/shuttle.htm

They have in addition to Interbus other shuttle alternatives that not only might be cheaper offer different departure times.

Colinsito,
Welcome to CRT!!! You may remember me from TA. I didn't think this was your sort of board, but it is nice to have you here.

Guys,
If you need to know anything about Puerto Viejo, Colinsito is the guy to ask. You should start by checking out his website as well as http://puertoviejosatellite.com where he is an active contributor on their forum. He really knows his stuff and we're lucky to have him here.

BTW, that GeckoTrail website also offers a whitewater tour option that can pick you up in SJ and drop you off in PV at the end of the day (or vice-versa). Or, if you're a little more adventurous and on a tighter budget, provides instruction on how you can do the same thing for a little less by taking the bus to the Turrialba in the morning and onward from Siquirres to PV after the rafting. Particularly if you were thinking of going rafting one day anyway, it would be like getting the transportation to PV for free PLUS it eats up one less day of your trip.

Whenever I have used the innerbus, I always walk over to the Holiday Inn and use the travel agent in the corner of the building. He makes the reservation and gives you a receipt.

Mark, That would be hard to do if you are in the U.S. of A., and trying to get transport from the airport to your hotel.

The phone number for the travel agent at Holiday Inn is 506-248-4248. His name is Leonidas Guerra Urcuyo. Iguerra@viamundocostarica.com
He speaks very good English and has always been helpful.

Mark that is an old number. All CR phone numbers are 8 digit now so for numbers starting with a 2,4,5,6 or 7 you have to add a 2 as the first digit. For numbers starting with a 3,8 or 9 you have to add an 8.

So the number you posted is now 2248-4248
