Am I crazy, or has TACA stopped offering non-stop service from LAX? Okay, I probably am crazy  , but still wondering if this is true. Seems like all I could find at their website were flights that had at least a stopover in El Salvador.

The TACA flight is operated by LACSA.

http://www.kayak.com/s/flights.jsp?sear ... leted=true

Use the above link and then click on Non-Stop. The current cost for April dates that they listed is $740.00.

It is a 2:20 am departure with a 9:00 am arrival. It leaves at 7:15 PM, and arrives at LAX at 12:40 am.

It is a great flight for times giving basically two extra days in country. I have not paid more than $550.00 in the past.

Sign up for the Kayak alert and it will tell you when the price drops.

Health & happiness...

Steve - Santas Bro

TACA website quoted $585.00 tax included using dates of 4/15 LAX/SJO and 4/22 SJO/LAX. Non-stop, same flights as Santas Bro quoted. Did not check any other dates.

Taca has cut back on the non-stop flight from daily to 4 times per week from JFK, so it may be the same from LAX.

Check the schedule: http://www.taca.com/eng/pyr/fsc/fscoursch.asp?id=18

Today the cost this morning was at $312.00 R/T for one stop. The R/T non-stop was about $388.00. Both included taxes.

TACA operated by LACSA, terminal two at LAX.
